Why should I use bulk water instead of my garden hose for new sod?
Installing new sod is a major investment. A standard garden hose can take hours to saturate a lawn, often leading to uneven watering and sod shrink. Our bulk delivery provides high-volume, uniform hydration that soaks deep into the soil immediately, ensuring the roots establish quickly. Plus, using your home’s water for days can significantly spike your utility bill or strain your well pump.
Can your trucks reach my back acres or remote garden beds?
Yes. One of our biggest advantages is our 650-foot hose capability. We can park our 6,000-gallon tankers safely on the street or driveway and run hoses deep into your property. This allows us to water remote trees, shrubs, and gardens without driving heavy equipment over your delicate turf or landscaping.
Is your water safe for my fish pond or sensitive plants?
We deliver filtered municipal water that is safe for most landscape applications. For fish ponds, our water is clean and free of the heavy minerals found in many Illinois wells. We recommend treating the pond (as you would with city water) once it’s filled to ensure a safe environment for your aquatic life.
Do I have to be home for the delivery?
As long as our drivers have clear access to the fill site and we’ve discussed the logistics beforehand, you do not need to be home. We coordinate directly with homeowners and landscape contractors across the Chicagoland area to ensure a seamless delivery.
Note: We ask that pets remain in the house during the watering process.
Will a heavy water truck damage my driveway?
We take property protection seriously. Our fleet includes maneuverable smaller trucks for residential driveways, as well as our full-size 6,000-gallon semi-tankers for commercial sites. Our 650ft hoses often allow us to avoid the driveway entirely by staying on the public roadway.
